The Tiered Garden

As promised, this time I have a picture of the tiered garden I briefly bragged about completing.

My First Tiered Garden...

Ta Da!

You would not believe how much of an issue I had with the placement of the steps in this garden.
Literally, every time I placed one set of stairs, it would take another 20 or so minutes to try and re-level that tier so that there were no random earth lumps, which are unfortunately not flattened by placing flooring on them *sigh*

Despite this rather arduous process I can now tell you though is that it was totally worth it! My Sims can now have massive, realistic house and garden parties and it looks INCREDIBLE.

Special thanks have to go to Flabaliki from ModTheSims.info for making the "Retaining Walls" mod that actually allowed me to do this.

If anyone would like me to do any tutorials for them, just let me know in the comments.

Landscaping Landmark

Today marked a landscaping landmark for me: my first properly tiered garden!

It might not sound like much of an achievement to you readers, but this one garden alone took me 9 hours earlier today to 'perfect'.

I'll post pictures and thanks to those who provided the add-ons to help me.

A New Beginning...

Hello my dear interweb users!

This site is, for me, a great leap into the unknown, and I would like to bring you (yes, YOU!) along with me on my adventure.

My hope is to create stories on The Sims 3 which you all can have a say in, whether it's in the colour of a character's eyes to whether he has an affair with his brother's girlfriend!

Yeah,

So my Sims have grown up a fair bit since I started this blog. AND there are a ton of new packs out there, so that now my guys have all got ponies and puppies and kittens.

I'll keep you all posted on stuff.
